Brocoli Salad

with one comment

This is a Bethany recipebroccolisalad2.jpg

Brown about 1/2 c. of slivered almonds and 1/2 c. of sunflower seed either with oil in a pan over the stove or brown them in the oven. Make sure you don’t burn them! Leave them aside to cool down.

In a bowl, cut these and mixt together:

1 bunch or so of brocoli

1 bunch or so of cauli flower

Some celery (maybe 1 c. or so… depends how much you like them)

Some green onion (again… as you wish)

About a whole “branch” of red grapes (or just as you feel)

REAL bacon bits (you can either buy them or make your own bacon and chop it into chunks…)

Dressing:

Mixt together 1 and 1/2 c. of mayo, 2 Tbls of vinegar, 2 Tbls of white sugar (these are… not exactly right, but they work)

Add dressing when you’re ready to eat!

Fruit Salad

That’s a Bethany recipeimages.jpg

Before you cut up your fruits, make the jelly stuff to keep them from turning brown and that adds flavor I like:

Mix:

1/2 c. vanilla + 1/2 c. lemon pudding instant

2 c. fruit juice (from fruit cans below)

Cut and add to the jelly mixture:

(these are just suggestion, put in any fruit you’ve got)

Apple (cubes)

Cantaloupe

Honey Dew

Grapes

Peaches (chunks – can)

Pineapple (chunks – can)
