Macaroni Salad

You cook the amount of macaroni you need.

Then my mom says:

You use Hellman’s mayo + “La Jardinière” spices (garden mix?) + veggies like peppers, green onions, celery, etc., salt and pepper. And you’re ready to go.

Easy eh? Sometimes, it’s worth it asking your mom.

Dressing for Caesar Salad

This is my mom’s recipe!

Mixt together:

2 c. mayo, 8 garlic cloves (crushed), 1 Tbs of capers (crushed), 1 Tbs dijon mustard, 1Tbs wine vinegar, 1 Tbs lemon juice, salt and pepper (to taste).

Taco Dip

This is a Bethany recipe r36988fp.jpg

Mix together and spread on a 12” pizza pan (that you can buy at Dollarama):

8 oz. of cream cheese

1 c. of sour cream

2 Tbls. of taco seasoning (the brown powder for your tacos your remember?)

Then, on top of this “base” add in this particular oder:

Mild salsa + chopped green and red peppers + green onions + tomatoes (chopped very fine) + mozza cheese

Serve with corn chips!

Brocoli Salad

This is a Bethany recipebroccolisalad2.jpg

Brown about 1/2 c. of slivered almonds and 1/2 c. of sunflower seed either with oil in a pan over the stove or brown them in the oven. Make sure you don’t burn them! Leave them aside to cool down.

In a bowl, cut these and mixt together:

1 bunch or so of brocoli

1 bunch or so of cauli flower

Some celery (maybe 1 c. or so… depends how much you like them)

Some green onion (again… as you wish)

About a whole “branch” of red grapes (or just as you feel)

REAL bacon bits (you can either buy them or make your own bacon and chop it into chunks…)

Dressing:

Mixt together 1 and 1/2 c. of mayo, 2 Tbls of vinegar, 2 Tbls of white sugar (these are… not exactly right, but they work)

Add dressing when you’re ready to eat!

Chip Dip

This is a Bethany recipe

Italian Twist

This is a Bethany recipe – makes for about 8 people190757_pastaspiralssalad.jpg

Cook 1 c. spiral macaroni and let it cool.

Cut into 1/4 inch cubes and add to the cooled pasta:

1/2 c. salami + some cheddar cheese

Chop some celery and add to the mix.

Pour desired amount of Italian dressing and mix well.

It should not be dry you know.
